Doris Garcia was born June 29 in Bronx, New York and spent her childhood between New York and Puerto Rico, where she graduated from high school. In 1972 she moved to Waukegan, Illinois where she married and had 3 children, Joey, Tito and Nina. While in Waukegan, Doris worked as Supervisor for the Hospital Products Division of a major manufacturing company.

In 1995 Doris moved to Florida and since that time has completed her education, obtaining a BS in Business Management from Lynn University, a Master’s degree in Christian Counseling from Universidad Nuestro Pacto Internacional (UNPI) and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.

Doris Garcia was raised in the church but wandered away for awhile, but in 1998, 3 years after moving to Florida and starting a new life as a single person, God ministered to her life in a very real and personal way, in which she realized that God had never abandoned her even though she had wandered away. Doris has been involved in God’s business ever since and continues studying God’s word.

To serve the Lord in an even greater capacity, Doris got involved working with computer video editing at her church, which led to getting introduced to the Christian Television Network where in 2004 she became a full time employee serving as Traffic Manager and Programming Coordinator for Spanish programs.

Always interested in being available to the Lord’s service to help people, Doris went on her first missionary trip to the Dominican Republic in 2008 and in 2010 went on missionary trips to Haiti and, again, to the Dominican Republic and most recently to Cuba.

Doris is the proud grandmother of three grandsons Liam, Joey and Adam and one granddaughter Mya.
